HOW LONG DO WE TYPICALLY RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
While it may differ depending on your relationship with us and your use of the Service, we will typically retain your information for the duration of our business relationship, unless we are instructed by you to delete your information, or we are otherwise required to delete your information under law. Nonetheless, some information may be deleted from our servers when they no longer become relevant to your continued relationship with us, for example, you delete your registered account for our Service.
VICI reserves the rights to retain information as necessary to improve the Service, respond to legal requests or comply with other legal or commercial requirements. You may have the opportunity to opt-out of certain communications and modify any demographic information you've provided. Upon an event requiring deletion of your account data under law, VICI deletes all the above-mentioned data in its possession within a reasonable timeframe. VICI does not verify the correctness of personal data.
In some cases, we may not be able to delete your personal information, and will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with technical and legal requirements and constraints related to the security, integrity and operation of the Service. We take reasonable steps and appropriate measures to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Vendors and Third Parties
VICI may utilize different third party vendors, service providers, contractors, or other third parties to provide you different aspects of the service or address issues on the service. These parties will have to be provided your personal information as described above. For instance, if you purchase an item on the service, a service provider will be needed to assist in processing your payment, and a third party vendor may similarly be utilized when you leave online reviews on the service, or a contractor to automatically issue you gift cards or rewards for your purchases.
Other third party vendors, service providers, contractors, or other third parties may need your usage data to prevent fraud, confirm transactions, or otherwise address technological issues on the service.
Finally, VICI may utilize third parties (like outside marketing vendors), to assist VICI in its marketing efforts, and may be required to distribute your information to the marketing provider providing the service.
In any case, VICI shall endeavor to ensure that each third party vendor, service provider, contractor or other third party receiving your information is bound to secure your information to the same extent VICI would, and that such parties use reasonable security measures for your benefit.
OTHER PRIVACY ISSUES
Sweepstakes-What Do We Collect and Why?
For sweepstakes, we'll typically ask you for identifying information like identifiers or Personal Characteristics. We will outline what information we specifically collect in the rules for the specific sweepstakes. This information is to identify you as an entrant, and, if you win, to ship prizes to you. If you are a winner, we may also request your social security number or similar tax information in order to file tax documents necessary to distribute the prize to you.
Corporate Transactions.
We may share personal information with parties to business transactions such as those we deal with in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, sales of assets, reorganizations, divestitures, dissolutions, bankruptcies, liquidations, or other types of business transactions. In these types of transactions, personal information may be shared, sold, or transferred, and it may be used subsequently by a third party.
Law Enforcement and Courts.
Occasionally, we may need to disclose your personal information when it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring an action against people causing you, VICI, or others harm. We may also disclose this when required by law.
VICI Bucks and Notice of Financial Incentive.
we provide special offers to our customers via our VICI Bucks program, where, on occasion and if your order meets the minimum requirements, we may submit an e-gift card to you through the email you used to make your purchase. Participation in this program is not essential, but we will need to have your email on file in order to submit the gift card to you.
While we do not assign a monetary value to the personal information we collect as part of our VICI Bucks promotions, we do receive value in the form of customer loyalty and increased purchase engagement. Considering this value to VICI, we considered the revenue generated, continued purchases from our customers, less expenses associated with the VICI Bucks promotions and benefits offered. This value varies by member depending on the purchases made, and how those purchases are made (in person or online).
Children
Our Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16. If you learn that a child has provided us with Personal Information, then you may contact us as indicated above.
Do Not Track
VICI does not currently take steps to respond to browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals as no uniform standard to respond to such signals has been developed at this time.
Text Marketing and Notifications
By entering your phone number in at checkout and initiating a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you SMS and mobile text messages relating to your order,, abandoned cart reminders, product returns and text marketing offers. The number of text messages will vary and no purchase is necessary. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.
If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us. You may also opt-out by sending a request via email to privacy@vicicollection.com with the phone number you wish to opt-out.
